Advice and Guidance for Key Stage 4 Options - making the right choices for you.
Choosing the subjects you wish to take for GCSE can be a difficult one. We aim to support our students through this process by working with them in the following ways;
- Bespoke and specific PSHE lessons to help our students understand all the pathways available to them
- Assemblies to guide them through the process of option choices
- Careers Fair
- Options evening for students and parents to attend (this will include subject staff giving advice but also local colleges and businesses)
Before all these events take place we advise you to look at the Starting out Booklet, it is a guide for parents which explains their child’s options, the learning routes and qualifications available, and what support they can expect to receive.
